Clinical Team

Lawrence Ball, Psy.D., ABPP, is a Board-Certified Police and Public Safety Psychologist with extensive experience serving law enforcement, corrections, and public safety agencies throughout California. Prior to becoming a psychologist, Dr. Ball served as an Inglewood Police Officer and later as a Los Angeles County Reserve Deputy Sheriff, providing him with firsthand knowledge of the operational demands, culture, and challenges faced by public safety personnel.

His professional work has focused primarily on POST-compliant pre-employment psychological evaluations, police psychology consultation, officer wellness, fitness-for-duty evaluations, and critical incident response services. Dr. Ball has conducted thousands of psychological evaluations and consultations for public safety agencies and is recognized for combining clinical expertise with practical law enforcement experience to support both individual officers and the agencies they serve.
