Group Psychotherapy
Group psychotherapy offers powerful support and healing for people navigating similar challenges. Many individuals find relief in discovering they’re not alone—and in group sessions, participants receive encouragement, understanding, and connection from others who truly get it.
Group therapy has been a trusted and effective treatment approach for over 50 years. In each session, up to eight participants come together under the guidance of a licensed therapist to share experiences, gain insight, and support one another’s growth. For some, the group setting leads to faster progress than individual therapy, especially when it comes to breaking patterns of isolation and building healthier ways of relating to others.
Group therapy provides a safe and respectful space to be open and authentic. It helps reduce feelings of loneliness, challenges long-held behavior patterns, and fosters meaningful connections with others on a similar path.
We offer several specialized groups, including:
-
Trauma Support Group for Combat Veterans
-
PTSD Support Group for First Responders
-
Support Group for Spouses and Significant Others of Police Officers with PTSD
-
Alcohol and Substance Abuse Group for First Responders
Each group meets weekly and sessions run for 80 minutes. If you're interested in joining a group or want to learn more, please contact our office. We’re here to help you connect, heal, and move forward.
