Dr. Michael Uthoff, PsyD 

Dr. Michael Uthoff, PsyD is a clinical psychologist with a deep commitment to serving those who serve others. Since earning his Doctor of Psychology degree in 2013, Dr. Uthoff has specialized in working with first responders—a calling he began in 2012 and has continued with dedication ever since. He is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), crisis intervention, and peer support, bringing a trauma-informed and compassionate approach to his work.

 

Over the past decade, Dr. Uthoff has provided critical incident support at some of the nation’s most harrowing events, including the Las Vegas Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting and the San Bernardino terrorist attacks. His experience supporting individuals and couples within the first responder community has shaped a focused and empathetic practice, grounded in emotionally focused therapy and psychodynamic principles.

In private practice, Dr. Uthoff works closely with clients to foster healing, connection, and resilience. His passion lies in helping first responders and their families navigate the emotional toll of their service—restoring not only mental well-being but also relational strength. Through evidence-based treatment and an unwavering respect for those he serves, Dr. Uthoff brings both clinical expertise and heartfelt dedication to every therapeutic relationship.
