Leslie Rankin

Service Description

Leslie Rankin, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (CA 66189). She received her B.A. in Community Studies from UC Santa Cruz and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Cal State Long Beach. For over 10 years, Leslie has worked as a clinician for the Psychiatric Emergency Response Team with police departments throughout Orange County. In addition, Leslie works with the Peer Support Program for Costa Mesa Police Department, providing clinical support and critical incident response. Spending thousands of hours riding in police cars with officers provided Leslie the opportunity to learn their stories and witness the day-to-day challenges, both professional and personal, of life as a first responder. In private practice, Leslie provides counseling for first responders and their families. Her specialties include trauma, anxiety/depression and grief and loss and she is trained in Critical Incident Stress Management.
